Herb the Hippo is a character I modeled for a group project at school. He is a dump hippo who type away at an old typewriter. He has a monkey who dictates to him what to write. The character was a blast to model and texture, being a different style than I normally do. I was able to see him come to life in the group project when I believe is every modelers dream. It is the biggest rush ever to see your model blink and come to life. I had to work pretty fast on this model because we had 10 weeks and I had to model the environment, detail another character and texture, light and render it all out.
